UNC Neuroscience Center is a key interdisciplinary brain science research platform on campus, integrating the research strengths of psychology, biology, basic medicine and other multiple disciplines.

The core research directions include human brain neural circuit operation rules, nervous system related disease pathogenesis, adolescent cognitive brain development rules and brain nerve injury rehabilitation mechanism research. It uses advanced brain imaging equipment to carry out accurate data collection and analysis research.
The center undertakes a number of brain science frontier research projects at home and abroad, and regularly holds international neuroscience academic exchange conferences. Its research progress provides new research ideas and treatment directions for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of various neurological diseases.
