The Office of Research is the top management department of all scientific research work in Tufts University, responsible for overall planning of school research directions, scientific research layout optimization and interdisciplinary research resource coordination.
It undertakes various horizontal and vertical scientific research project declaration review, research fund distribution supervision, academic research standard formulation and research achievement statistics sorting work. It also standardizes research ethics norms and experimental operation management rules.
The office actively encourages faculty and students to carry out frontier innovative research, promotes the transformation of academic research achievements into practical social benefits, strengthens academic exchange and research cooperation with outside institutions, and continuously elevates the overall scientific research level and academic influence of the university.
